It’s the day before Thanksgiving and I’m probably in the kitchen doing some preparation for tomorrow’s festivities. Every year, for the last six or so, we’ve hosted Thanksgiving. This year we got ourselves a nice twenty pound turkey from a local farmer, it’ll be some good eating (though my favorite dish is probably the Brussels sprouts). Our families come into town, some friends stop by, and we enjoy a fun night of revelry — it helps to get some of the cooking out of the way the day before. 🙂

So while we don’t have a full post today, I want to say thank you for reading my blog.

Thank you for linking to posts and sharing posts you found useful. Thank you for leaving insightful comments (we have over 800 comments on the site, most of which are really good) and for emailing me thought provoking questions. I hope to continue being useful for as long as possible. This blog is only a few months old but it’s already exceeded my goals and expectations in its short lifetime… and I have you to thank for that.

All of your comments and emails give me the drive to continue to write more, and often blogging fodder, and I hope to do so in the coming months and years.

That said, what topics do you want me to tackle next? Where are you in your journey and what struggles are you running into? Share in the comments below please.

See you all next Monday and don’t eat too much!

In 2005, I founded a personal finance blog (Bargaineering.com) that became successful enough that I quit my career as a software developer in the defense industry. It is my goal to share everything I learned so that you can do the same - build an online business that let's you pursue your passion.
